Dark Chocolate Pudding

Now who doesnt love a chocolate pudding…I know a very few people who would say “I will skip on the chocolate pudding” I have never really got why? Anyway as majority of us love indulging in yummy chocolate I have for you a gorgeous chocolate pudding ……. This is a dark chocolate pudding .I am a big fan of dark chocolate There is something almost seductive about it that I love.Its pure pleasure. Ofcourse if dark chocolate is too bitter for you,you can use semi-sweet chocolate…….

Lets go over the ingredients first

RECIPE

1/4 cup cornflour

1/2 cup sugar

1 pinch salt

1 cup full fat milk

2 cups full fat cream

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups shredded dark chocolate

METHOD

  • Shred/Chop the chocolate bar (make sure its at room temperature for easy chopping) and keep aside
  • Combine cornflour+sugar+salt over a double boiler
  • Slowly pour in the milk while whisking so that no lumps form
  • Stir the mixture every 5 mins
  • After 20 mins when the mixture is thick or when the mixture coats the back of a spoon add the vanilla
  • Add the chocolate and whisk
  • After 5-7 mins of whisking turn off the heat and pour the mixture into your serving bowl
  • Let it come to room temperature before you put in into the refrigerator

Let it chill for a min of 2 hrs or even better overnite (i know though you wont be able to wait that long)
